Before Race Day, you can transfer your registration to someone else at an administrative fee of SGD15++ per transfer. This can be done until midnight on Wednesday 15th November midnight. After this date, any transfers will have to be done at the Registration Tent on either Race Day.

Spectator entry to view and support Moon Runs at this Race is complimentary. As a spectator, to enter the Festival area, you will have to buy the ticket at S$25.00 or IDR250K/pax - we've got music, hands-on obstacle challenges, local food/beverage vendors and sponsor giveaways available throughout the day.

  • International passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival into Indonesia.
  • All Singaporeans do not require a travel visa to Indonesia. For non-Singaporeans, please check on your visa travel requirements via this link.


  • Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organiser to ensure the Participants' safety, the Organiser, their Sponsors and their appointed Officials shall not be liable for death or injury, loss or damage, suffered or otherwise, howsoever arising.
  • Completion of the entry form confirms the Participants' agreement to abide by the Rules & Regulations of the Bintan Moon Run 2016.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to delay the commencement of the run in the event of inclement weather. Should the inclement weather persist after the delay, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel the race without refund of registration fees.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing with the run to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/herself.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of Participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Bintan Moon Run, for any publicity purpose.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Rules and Regulations without giving prior notification or any reasons thereof.


Before the run

  • Please be punctual and plan to arrive early for your run.
  • Please remember to attach your number bib onto your singlet.
  • Please ensure that you are well hydrated before running.
  • DO NOT participate in the run if you are feeling unwell.
  • The Moon Run will be using RFID timing chip (only for 10km runners) that is attached to your number bib.
  • The chip is weather proud and will work regardless of rain, heat, storms, humidity or other inclement conditions. Do not alter, modify, fold or crumple your number bib. The chip is always “ON” and does not require activation. You are not required to return your chip after the run. Instead, you may dispose it after completing the event.

After the run

  • Medals will be issued to runners after crossing the finish line.
  • Results of the run will be available on the website.

Baggage Deposit

  • Please be informed that there will be no baggage deposit service on event day.
  • The organiser will not be liable for any loss or damage to your belongings.

Inclement weather

  • In the event of inclement weather, the organisers retain the right to delay or cancel the event for safety reasons (without any refund).
  • If the rain occurs after the flag off, you are advised to seek shelter along the run route. You may choose to continue running at your own risk.

Race Etiquette

  • Road marshals will be present to guide runners along the route.
  • Runners must abide by the instructions given by the marshals.
  • Should you decide to stop during the run, please move to the side to avoid obstructing others.
  • For safety reasons, pets, bicycles, in-line skates, skateboards, prams, pushcarts, shoes with built in or attached rollers and any other objects with wheels are not permitted on the race route.


It is mandatory for all participants to collect their Race Entry Packs within the dates stated above. Participants will need to bring along a photo ID (NRIC/ FIN/ Driver's License/ Passport) for the collection of Race Entry Packs. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participants without the required documents from collecting their entry packs.
